Special Projects
The International UFO Bureau (IUFOB) is proud to announce two groundbreaking initiatives designed to gather and preserve vital insights from often-overlooked populations in the study of UFOs and UAPs. The First Americans Project seeks to honor and document the rich oral histories and accounts of UFO and UAP encounters from Native American tribes across the United States. These stories, rooted in deep cultural knowledge and centuries of observation, hold the key to unlocking perspectives that have long been underrepresented in the field of UFOlogy. Complementing this effort is the First Responder Initiative, which aims to collect detailed reports from police, fire, and EMS personnel who are frequently on the front lines during unexplained events. By engaging with these firsthand witnesses, we seek not only to expand our understanding of the phenomenon but also to develop informed training and response strategies that empower first responders to act with confidence during contact or sighting events. Together, these projects underscore IUFOB's commitment to inclusivity, thorough research, and preparedness in exploring the unknown.

First Americans Project
The International UFO Bureau (IUFOB) is deeply committed to honoring and preserving the voices of Native American communities through its First Americans Project, which focuses on collecting and safeguarding traditional and contemporary reports of anomalous phenomena occurring on tribal lands across the United States. These efforts, led by IUFOB Vice-Chair Michele Meiners in collaboration with the esteemed Navajo Paranormal Rangers, Jon Dover and Stan Milford, represent a unique and respectful approach to understanding the UFO and UAP phenomenon. By working directly with tribal communities, the Bureau aims to uncover centuries of knowledge and experiences rooted in Native traditions, offering unparalleled insight into the phenomenon's historical and cultural significance.
IUFOB prioritizes the respectful handling of all reports, ensuring they are gathered in a manner consistent with traditional customs and native perspectives. This approach allows for the preservation of cultural integrity while fostering collaboration with tribal members. The partnership with Jon Dover and Stan Milford, who have decades of experience in bridging traditional wisdom with investigative rigor, underscores the Bureau's commitment to maintaining trust and cultural sensitivity. Through the First Americans Project, IUFOB seeks to expand the field of UFOlogy by integrating invaluable knowledge from underrepresented voices, enhancing our collective understanding of these phenomena.

Director of Indigenous Voices
Jonathan Redbird Dover
In 2024 Jonathan Dover and Stanley Milford Jr. were known as the Paranormal Rangers. They chose this name because the Navajo Rangers were already an established entity under the Navajo Nation. The Paranormal Rangers have been conducting presentations all over the western United States since 2011 including Scotland in the UK and Toronto Canada. Additionally they have been featured on Netflix Unsolved Mysteries. Jonathan Dover has been a guest on productions of Ancient Aliens, Skinwalker Ranch, Beyond Skinwalker Ranch, and Netflix Investigation Alien.
In 2023 it was decided to recruit another team member which was Michele Meiners. Michele was able to provide someone who had experience investigating paranormal cases and had worked closely within the Uinta Basin. Additionally, Michele had a background in investigative journalism and was adept in organizational and business skills. Michele became a Paranormal Ranger and worked closely with the team. She became even more invaluable producing many podcast episodes of "Native Paranormal Crossroads", a weekly podcast featuring Michele, Stanley, and Jonathan. The goal of Native Paranormal Crossroads is to provide information, instruction, and conversation from a distinct native viewpoint.

First Responders Initiative
The International UFO Bureau (IUFOB) is proud to spearhead the First Responders Initiative, a program designed to provide Police, Fire, and EMS personnel with a streamlined mechanism for reporting and investigating anomalous events. First responders often find themselves on the front lines of unexplained occurrences, making them invaluable witnesses to events that align with the Bureau's mission to study and understand UFO and UAP phenomena. By creating an efficient and user-friendly reporting system, IUFOB aims to serve as a trusted resource for these dedicated professionals, ensuring they receive the support and expertise needed to navigate these unique situations with confidence and clarity.
Through this initiative, IUFOB is fostering a collaborative relationship with first responders to develop best practices and protocols for handling UAP encounters. This partnership not only empowers first responders with tools and knowledge but also enriches IUFOB's database with critical firsthand accounts and observations. Together, these efforts enhance public safety by equipping first responders to lead their communities with assurance during anomalous events. By bridging the gap between frontline responders and UFO research, IUFOB is paving the way for a more informed, prepared, and proactive approach to these phenomena.
